Meet Mishelle Lane aka @secretagentmama

Question: What type of work do you do? Describe some aspects of your typical day!

Answer: I am mainly a mom. I do mom stuff like take care of the kids, the house, the meals, etc… I also write and take pictures.

A typical day starts with coffee and ends with a tall glass of water. In between there’s frustration, chaos, grocery store trips, barefoot walks in the grass, laughter, the internet, and texting.

Question: How long have you been doing it and what got you started?

Answer: I’ve been a mom since 1998. My eldest is now 11. My youngest is 2.5.

I’ve been a photographer forever, it seems. However my professional career as a photog started in 1992 as a studio photographer.

I’ve been writing forever, it seems, too. I tend to stick to poetry and prose.

Question: What is the most important thing you like to keep in mind? What are your future plans or goals?

Answer: There’s a quote from a Dave Matthews Band song that I say to myself often:

“I’m only so far and tomorrow leads my way….”

Re: Photography
My future plans include owning my own photo studio, as well as being an on-location portrait photographer.

I would like to be published. I am forever working on my memoirs.
