Heidi Bobier

Heidi Bobier is a young marketer diving head first into emerging media. While attending the University of St. Thomas, she taught classes about social media before it was even part of the curriculum. After writing her thesis on how social networking sites will change how we communicate, she graduated with a degree in communications and a passion for social media.

Heidi started her career working with national media outlets but quickly decided to turn her attention to blogs and online communities. She is currently the Social Media Manager at Axiom Marketing Communications in Minnesota where she works to create mutually beneficial relationships between her clients and online influencers. She provides social media insight on Daily Axioms, and shares stories about her love of food on her blog, Basil Vodka.

Debbie has over ten years of experience in online marketing, business development, product management and affiliate marketing for brands such as Expedia and Travelocity. Both programs were responsible for several hundred million dollars in annual sales, and she won both the Travelocity Enterprise Award and the Expedia Horizon Award for her job performance. Debbie Bookstaber was previously the VP of Strategy and Business Development at The JAR Group, where she started their affiliate marketing group.

In 2007, Debbie started Mamanista.com, a successful mom blog which generates revenue through affiliate marketing and traditional advertising. Debbie donates all of her profits to charity. She founded Bloganthropy.org, which connects bloggers with corporate giving departments to facilitate charitable donations. Bloganthropy, an exhibitor at BlogHer 2010, also empowers bloggers to become philanthropic leaders in their communities. Debbie has advised PR firms and Fortune 500 companies on blogger relations and effective social media strategies.

Debbie has always been an active volunteer, but the birth of her son inspired her to get more involved in her community and even to run for local office. Debbie serves on several charitable boards and was elected to a position on her local school board in 2007. Debbie graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University with a Bachelors and Masters in History.

Kim is a Mama to 4 sweet ones, 1 in Heaven and 3 on Earth. She lives in Utah but is from the Midwest and therefore calls herself Prairie Mama, however most days she feels more like Crazy Mama. When she is not changing or washing diapers, wiping noses, picking up legos and playing referee, she can be found in her garden, playing with her kids, or just reading some good blogs and tweeting with her friends.
